Why I made it
I wanted the things I check most on my own server in one place on iPhone, iPad and Mac: health, containers, virtual machines and the array.
It is built to work the same at home and away: the app looks for the server’s LAN and Tailscale addresses, switches between them and keeps you signed in. Tailscale has been checked against my server; switching back to the LAN has not.
What it does
- Server health at a glance: CPU, memory, array, disks, parity, UPS and notifications.
- Docker containers, VMs, the array and parity checks, with controls that work only to the extent your server’s API key allows.
- Every container’s web UI opens inside the app and stays alive like a browser tab.
- Built to switch automatically between the server’s LAN address and its Tailscale address.
- Saved web UI logins that fill and sign in, synced through iCloud Keychain, with an optional Touch ID or Face ID lock.
- “Try with demo data”: a sample server to explore without credentials or a live connection.
Under the hood
- No third-party dependencies, and the build treats warnings as errors. The app talks to Unraid’s own API: monitoring needs only a Viewer key, management needs the extra permissions you grant, and a full-admin key isn’t needed.
- Connect with Unraid hands the app its API key directly, so you never copy one. Pasting a Viewer-only key still works for monitoring.
- By design, secrets are kept in one vault and redacted from logs, and actions that change the server are not retried automatically. A final security review is still open.
- For untrusted networks it supports certificate verification and pinning, or Tailscale.
- Still being checked: managing a live server, a real Connect with Unraid pass, switching to the LAN, Face ID and Touch ID on real hardware, and returning to a web UI window on iPad. Needs Unraid 7.2 or later, and iOS, iPadOS or macOS 26 or later.
